Any PT3's near eastern Virginia?

Post by Colby Fahrenbacher »

Hello everyone,

I'm considering ordering a PT3 for all of the quintet work I am currently doing with the USAF Heritage Brass, however my experience with these horns is severely limited. I would like to have the chance to spend some time with one before setting said order, but Custom only has two PT3P's right now and they don't keep stock of them much anymore. I am also more interested in rotaries than pistons, if possible, but anything would be better than nothing. I'd be willing to drive a few hours from the Norfolk, VA area to spend a little one-on-one time with one of these horns, if there were any in the area and its owner was gracious enough to let me play it.

Anyone have any leads?

Baltimore Brass handles B&S, but they don't list a PT3 on their site.... might be worth calling to see if they plan on getting one in.......
