Roland Szentpali Lecture Recital/Masterclass @ USC

This coming Monday, November 19th at 6pm on the University of Southern California campus, the Thornton School of Music Tuba Studio will be hosting Roland Szentpali. I , P. Blake Cooper, will be performing my DMA Lecture Recital surveying Roland Szentpali's compositional catalog starting at 6pm in Ramo Recital Hall in the Thornton School of Music complex.

My performance will include...

- Szentpali Tuba Concerto Mvt.1 w/ Jasper Jimenez, piano

- Very Good Morning & Serenade (as performed by RTB Crew) w/ Kait Dunton, rhodes & Jake Reed, drums

- Homework for Bass Tuba Quartet w/ the USC Bass Tuba Quartet

- K-1 for 2 fighting Tubas and 6 Trombones featuring ROLAND SZENTPALI as Fighter 1(F tuba)


Following the Lecture Recital (7pm) Roland will be giving a Masterclass featuring the students of the USC Thornton Tuba Studio under the direction of Jim Self, Norm Pearson & Doug Tornquist. Admission is $10 at the door starting at 7pm.
