Greetings All,
Can anyone help identify this tuba? It is shown next to a York Eb with a 19.5” bell in one of the photos. This tuba has a 20 inch bell. The Diameter of the bell is 20 inches. The diameter of the bell where it meets the lower bow is 4.93 inches. The diameter of the smaller end of the lower bow is 3.58 inches. There are no marking at all on the bell. There are no obvious signs that this is not the original bell.
What do you think?
Thanks, DH

Re: Tuba Identification
This horn looks like one I have on my bench at the moment. This one is badged "The Harwood - Kansas City" and appears to be a Conn stencil. The only difference I see are the large bell and bottom bow ferrules. Yours also appears to have a longer 'low pitch' main slide.
I'm considering putting a Yamaha valve section on this one.
I'm gonna say "Conn stencil".

Re: Tuba Identification
Looks like the tuba has been identified. Here are some more pictures, because I said I would upload some more. I should have also mentioned that the tuba is 37 inches tall. Did Conn make any like this for themselves??
Happy New Year!
