Meinl Weston Serial Numbers

Post by 872375328 »

Hello TubeNet! I am trying to put a year of manufacture on my MW 45 SLP. Serial is 00XXXX. Any chance someone knows where the serials are listed with dates?

There is no modern MW serial number list with dates. It couldn't have been made earlier than 2000. That was when the very first SLP came into the United States.

You can email MW through their website to see what they say. Also, are you sure that your SLP doesn't have two serial numbers? There should be one on the receiver and another on the valve set.

There's not much information available. Most of the numbers I've seen are letter and number combination with a dash hand-engraved on the outside of one of the valve casings.
