Grammy-Award-winning composer Michael Daugherty wrote a brand new concerto for tuba called Reflections on the Mississippi, and I have the privilege of playing the solo part! It's a great piece; I hope you can make it out for one of these first two performances!
The world premiere is this coming Sunday March 24th at 4pm in Verizon Hall in Philadelphia PA. Info below:

Temple University funded the commission, and we'll also be recording the piece next month for Temple's label. So if you can't come to Philly or NYC, keep an eye out for that later on!
