You're the only guy who doesn't have beads. Does this mean you refused to lift your shirt up so the world could see what was under it?

I found it:

I believe this Eb Sousa was one owned jointly by George Black and Bill Bell. I think it was kept in a locker at Grand Central Station. I knew George very well and he mentioned this many times. George was about 6'3" and weighed, at times well over 240 lbs. He never mentioned he had any trouble using the Sousaphone so I suspect it is quite possible to play a sousaphone regardless of your size, within, let's say, the 98 %ile person?
Always make a good sound; audiences will forget if you miss a note but making a good sound will get you the next job.

It's just almost worth it driving across town to get my picture taken holding my friend's Eb sousa just for the contrast. It doesn't exactly come down to my knees but you get the idea. He was going to let me have it until I tried it on and found I'd rather carry around a couple of bowling balls because at least I don't have to wear those on my shoulders.

I have this same model 4-valve Eb King sousaphone, I am 6'3" and last saw 240 before my crash. I can certainly confirm Joe's assertion. The horn circles your ribcage, not your gut, so unless you work-out and look like Ahnold did in his prime, no excuses. I'm just sayin'...
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
