*World Premier" "Heavy Weather"

Hi all -

I'll have the privilege of playing the world premier of "Heavy Weather" for solo tuba and wind ensemble, written by Jess Turner. This was a commission for me and the Hartt School Wind Ensemble. This concerto has proven to be a very worth-while challenge - each section describes a weather event - a very unique concept and one that's brilliantly written by Jess Turner, a fast-rising star in the music world. Glen Adsit conducts the Hartt Wind Ensemble.
