Am I wrong to be offended by the tampering of this wiki article?

I'm a fan of English and using it properly, sure... So I maybe I'm peeved by the bastardization of the language. I also value wikipedia and the idea behind it and whoever did that to the tuba wiki page only made the subject appear trivial and certainly doesn't help wiki appear any more authoritative.

Actually I had to stop half way through that nonsense--it was giving me a headache. Fortunately for me I am of the age where I do not have to deal with anyone who actually speaks in that manner.

Well Bob, I will respectfully remind you that humor, just like music, is subjective. What may be humorous to you may not be to others and, in fact, may be just downright offensive to others. I respect your opinion on this subject--can you respect mine?

I didn't get halfway through, it doesn't take that long to get the gist of it.

The lady of the house enjoys some kind of eating/recipe blog that has a similar style, F-ing this and that, and so forth. It's funny for about 1 second, and from then on it's just sort of like a speech impediment.
