Chicagoland – Tuba Players Wanted

The Prairie Brass Band is about start up another season and is looking to bolster their tuba section. The Prairie Brass Band is a traditional English Brass Band, drawing 35 volunteer members from as far south as Springfield, IL and north to Milwaukee, WI. The band plays about 10 concerts per year in the Chicagoland area, with a varied brass band repertoire pending the intended audience. In addition, PBB hosts and competes annually in the U.S. Open Brass Band Championships - held the first weekend of November in St. Charles, IL. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings in Arlington Heights, and are usually followed by a casual gathering amongst bandmates at a local establishment.
