Changing "lurker" designation

I think you guys are correct. Many other bbs's do the same thing. The more you post, you move you're way through the ranks. I believe from 10 to 50 posts you're a bugler. From 50 to 100 you're "three valves." After 100 you're "four valves." I don't know what's after that, as nobody has posted more than that yet. If you're a geek like me, the tubenet administrator can give you a cool name like "Photoshop Nutcase!"

How does one change the "lurker" designation that appears under your name in a post? I haven't been able to find an option that allows you to do this. Thanks for your help.

Your post asking the question actually made you a bugler. I think my congratulations will do the same for me. I know I should be ashamed at such blatent self promotion. Apologies all around!

After 500 it will be "five valves". And when you have told all your 1001 fairy tales, you will be "ophicleideist".

And even better: you will get the official certifcate of having earned your performance masters as a bluffonist. As the degree will be issued by the University of Western Nome it will be followed by another certificate authorising you to take command on a pedal boat with ice-breaking capabilities.
