During the season finale of the TV show on AMC, the Cheyenne WY celebratory brass band seemed to consist of a solo tuba player. The villain on the show asked "What is that infernal noise" and " Will somebody please shoot him." The local army officer obliged. This dispatching happened off screen, so I have no idea who the unfortunate tubist was...
Very silly!
Tuba player on "Hell on Wheels" gets no respect.
