Sarah plays French Horn with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and has been running 'live horn hangouts' for just over a year. There is a large archive of her previous interviews with inspirational musicians on her website - and up on YouTube. Previous guests not only include world class French horn players such as Dale Clevenger, Radovan Vlatković and members of her own Berlin Philharmonic horn section, but also acclaimed singers such as Barbara Hannigan and Anna Prohaska, brass legends such as Christian Lindberg (Trombone), Håkan Hardenberger (Trumpet) Carol Jantsch (Tuba), Steven Mead (Euphonium) and performance psychologist Dinka Migic-Vlatković.

So I got to check this out, but got in a bit late and they were finishing up with Roger...they kept hinting that it didn't go well...did he fall asleep or something? I missed the beginning. I know the different time zones make it hard to coordinate across the world, was just curious what happened if anyone knows?

Apologies the Hangout didn't quite go as planned. A few technical problems, and a bit late in the day in Japan.

We were honoured to have Sergio Carolino and Steve Rosse drop by to join us as well - even if we couldn't quite get Steve's microphone working.

We'll be back for a round 2 tuba hangout sometime in the coming months!
