MACK Brass announces new F Tuba

Post by MackBrass »

Last year I proposed the idea of having a new F Tuba made. I offered to give the manufacture my Pt8 as a model to work from well, there is now a new model f that is modeled after the pt10. This will be on the market after I get my first one for evaluation in February. If all goes well I will be selling them for $3250.00 in lacquer and $3550.00 in silver. I will keep you posted when the first one arrives as I expect this horn to be another winner at a great price. Jonathan maybe getting them in as well so you can contact him for availability as well. Like all new models, I must try it first and it has to meet my standards before making onto my website. If not it will become a flattened wall hanger. The anticipation and expectation o n the horn is very high as I am hoping to provide a great alternative to the much more expensive brand names. As to delivery time, the first horn will be arriving in February an the expectation is to order a boat load provided it passes the grade.

I will keep you posted

We expect to have this new F on the Wessex Tubas stand at the US Army Tuba/Euphonium Conference, so if you are coming, give it a try.

Wessex prices will be exactly the same as Tom's stated above.

I did tried one at Shanghai music fair, and my first impression was it playing and feeling very much like my previously owned PT-15.
