CCB = Congregação Cristã no Brasil. The blind sousaphone player you may remember from a few years back, also with them. They have a whole repertoire of their own, services with big wind bands, featuring more low brass and reeds than we're used to seeing, like multiple contrabass saxophones. And living room jam sessions, more often kind of awful where this is pretty good, but anyway they seem to be exceptionally interested in making music and they love tubas.

This Brazilian Wiki page: http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congregaçã ... _no_Brasil translates pretty well using Google Chrome. Interesting that no women are allowed to play instruments.Donn wrote:CCB = Congregação Cristã no Brasil. The blind sousaphone player you may remember from a few years back, also with them. Tech note - For some reason I cannot "hide" this URL using text trick - probably because of "illegal" accented text, so you will have to copy and paste.
