Dear colleagues and friends,
I hope this message finds you well and enjoying a fantastic start to 2014. It is such an exciting time to be at KSU, where historic "firsts" seem to take place all the time. This month, the KSU School of Music will experience one of those moments - the first performance at KSU by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in the orchestra's 69-year history. This is a monumental moment for our program, and we would love to share it with you!
On Friday, January 24 at 8pm, the Bailey Performance Center will play host to the 27-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of their music director, Robert Spano. World renowned pianist Wu Han will be featured performing the Britten Piano Concerto, and the program will close with Berlioz' extraordinary Symphonie fantastique. We are thrilled to welcome this amazing ensemble to our campus, and hope that you can be here to experience this milestone event for our university.
Below you will find more information about the performance. Tickets are available from $8 - 40, and seats are still available. Please contact the College of the Arts Box office online at http://ticketing.kennesaw.edu" target="_blank" target="_blank, on campus in room 125 of the Wilson Building (Mon-Thu 11-4), or by phone at 770-420-6650 to arrange for your tickets. We are grateful for your support and look forward to seeing you!
With many thanks and best regards,
David
