I have a 12 volt 7 amp battery that I am trying to charge up with a Black and Decker battery charger. This battery is a deep cycle AGM battery type like you would find in emergency lights and such. This one came out of stair lift chair.
This charger has 3 different settings for battery type. Wet,gel and AGM. I charged it up for about 5 minutes on wet before I realized it should have been on AGM. Now the charger is giving me error codes even though it continues to charge. Have I damaged the battery even though it is charging up ?
