There's Hickey's Music in Ithaca (1-1.5 hours south of Syracuse). Gary is the brass guy there. I also seem to remember Ed Diefes (Syracuse Symphony) telling me that his family owned a music shop and his dad (I think) does the repairs. It was 1999 when I studied with Ed. I could be mistaken about my facts.
