I've not seen any specs on the balls and sockets on the DuBro connectors.... only the thread sizes. Your best bet is to replace the complete connector assembly.tuben wrote:So how does one discern what size the white ball & socket linkages on his tuba are for replacements?
That being said... I've found the ones with 4-40 threads to be the most universal.

If the ball and socket connectors were installed by the factory, would you consider having them replaced with factory parts? Might be easier that way.
