When I see offers of "upgrades," whether Windows 10, Adobe, Microsoft, etc., I don't download them from the icon. I go to the home website and access it from there. If it is a legitimate upgrade or download, it will be available through the home page of the parent website. If not, it won't.

Although CCleaner is very good (I've used it for years), I'm pretty sure it won't get rid of the S7.addthis dot com adware. Check this link for a fix:
