Find out if they both have "Large Trombone Shank" recievers. That would tip the balance if one had an intermediate "European Shank" - fewer readily available mouthpiece choices.
Personally, I like the smaller (11") bells.
Most D.C. Military guys have 12" bells.
Which is better?

It is not so much a different sound, but different options. Look on the Woodwind & Brasswind website

for Large Trombone shank mouthpieces then for European shanks. I think you will see a LOT more choices for the Large Trombone shank. It is this way for all mouthpiece sellers. Of course, if you have the "perfect" mouthpiece... it is a moot question.

Both the 967 and 968 take a large shank MP. The only difference between the two horns is 967 has 12inch bell, 968 has 11 inch. Play them both and decide which you like best. I have a 967 and love it. Three of the 4 euphs in my community band are 967s (the other is a Willson 2900).
