Post by Kevineckelkamp »

Never thought I'd be so fortunate to own another jumbo buescher, but i do now. Sent off $2400 cashier's check today. Wanted to share my joy with you all.

Love your username. Might just pm the pics to u since you're the only person to comment out of 256 views. Geez i feel like an outcast even amongst the tuba community. How pathetic is that lol.

Chances are good that I've already seen it. But, knowing how some if your posts have turned out, I'll wait until you actually have the instrument before requesting photos.
Pics or it didn't happen. I am from the show me state. Small world, the guy who shorted me on the already steal of a deal price for my last jumbo buescher, has tried many times over the yrs to purchase this second jumbo, the seller told me. And if you're also referring to my post last week about the conn i bought, i demanded a full refund and got it the next day, after he tried to withhold the horn until further money was deposited for shipment, DESPITE the fact that I'd already satisfied my end of the deal when i paid the buy it now price. Other than that i didn't fancy myself a boy who cried wolf

I'm glad you are getting the horn you want. Nothing like finding that one you have always been looking for. Pictures? Enquiring minds want to know. :)

Weekends are a little slow around here, even for us compulsive posters. :) Especially on my phone -- easy to read stuff, obnoxious to type on a phone. I just wait until I have time on my laptop.

Anyway, congratulations, I hope it's exactly as you remember it. Just be careful, lightning doesn't strike *three* times...

I was just looking for a regular old american silver BBb sousaphone. It's like when they say love will find you when you aren't looking lol. This site always says my pic files are too big. Figures considering this forum hasn't been updated but once since ENIAC was built lol

for the european market;
I'm not up on my Buescher lor, but if this is the type of horn the OP's referring to then there's one for sale one our side of the water;

I don't know this instrument nor Buescher sousaphones, but it sure has a "take-me-home-with-you" look to it.
