I bought a Marzan Comp for very little in a pawn shop, played it for a couple of years and then sold it to a collector for enough to pay off the rest of my horns and buy a 2280. I now have a horn collection free and clear and most importantly a much better Euphonium. The longer you play it the better you'll like it.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
