WTB: Meinl Weston 2040/5 or 2141 EEb

Post by flyingdogs »

I currently have a Schiller 3+1 EEb that I'd like to upgrade. I've played on the MWs before and remember them to be excellent horns. I'd also consider a Besson 981 for the right price. Any leads are appreciated. Thanks!

I'm located in San Diego. I'd be willing to drive a bit.

I am totally trying to sell my Schiller. Very open to offers. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=68163" target="_blank" target="_blank

Bump! Also interested in the Willson 3400 or other "large" EEb tuba.

This one is at Baltimore Brass.

J-445 Eb Used Gemeinhardt Prototype Eb tuba, 5 Valve (4P+1R), 18" bell, .730"/.750" bore. A good, easy to play Eb Tuba for a great price. Perfect for small ensemble work! Used w/ case and gig bag. $3,000.00

It has a great low Bb.

I've never played or heard much about this tuba. I've read some reviews here and most seen to be positive. How does it compare to the MW? 981?
