WTT: B&S MRP CC tuba

Post by MKainuma »

Greetings,

I'm looking for a trade for my B&S MRP CC tuba (lacquer finish). There's a shallow dent about the diameter of a dime near the bell rim; aside from that it's in perfect condition. CC tuba trades I'm most interested in would be: Gronitz PCK; Melton Meinl Weston Tuono; Rudolf Meinl 4345 (rotary version). I'll have some photos posted in a few days.

Regards,

Russ, I'd be shocked if you ever sold that Rudy! I'm curious about the MRP, and wish I were in NYC to give it a try... in the off chance that I'd love it and you'd love my rotary Willson. But, I think I've worn out my wife's patience for the tuba-go-round, so I'll cool it for a while. :)

It sounds like the MRP might be a good resolution between the things I don't like about the Neptune and the things I don't like about the PT6, both fixed in one tuba. Maybe. Either way, it's certainly a better tuba than I am a tuba player.

Anyway...

Bump for Morris! :tuba:
