I'm selling this tuba as a project. It needs some TLC.
I bought this horn and another tiger tuba last year, and after unpacking this one, low and behold, 2 braces were broken during shipping.
Problem #1 Horn has 3 broken braces in the body. Can probably be repaired, I have the brace that broke completely off.
Problem #2 Rotors 1 and 2 are stuck. They just need oiled and cleaned I think.
I am not mechanically inclined, nor have a lot of time to work on it at this time, so I have decided to sell the horn to someone that wants to fix it, and maybe use it for some small ensemble gigs or something fun. I bought it originally to do some caroling at Christmas time.
I don't have the original box, so I would like to sell it pick up only. Would consider Greyhound, I sold the other Tiger a few weeks ago and shipped greyhound no problem.
Tuba, gig bag, original plastic mouthpiece, bag of spare parts.
I have $1300.00 in this horn, Selling for $500.00 + shipping.
PM me your email for more pictures.

I believe this is the first time we can legitimately apply this joke to real life:
This doesn't sound like too difficult of repairs for someone so inclined. How do you fix a broken tuba?
With a tuba glue!

If I had the spare funds, I'd snatched this up. This would be a great horn for when I'm teaching my students or am just playing an outdoor jazz gig, especially for the price! Best of luck with the sale!
