I have a 4V BBb with that same configuration. Gonna cut it to CC, I think.

What do you use for your dent removal Tabor?Tabor wrote:

Nice work!
Jordan
King 2341 with a Holton "Monster" Eb bell
Eb Frankentuba
Martin Medium Eb Helicon
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving's probably not for you.

Re: A second chance at life!
It wasn't really a restoration, just getting it mostly back in shape.Tubajug wrote:What do you use for your dent removal Tabor?Tabor wrote:

I use all the wrong things. My hands, Plastic salad containers, lubricant, ice, a dollar store rubber mallet, hatchet, a television stand, live chickens, a coffee mug...
...only one of those things I actually have not used to remove dents.

Sounds like the same way I fix them. Amazing what you can do with a couple of rubber mallets from Harbor Freight.Tabor wrote:It wasn't really a restoration, just getting it mostly back in shape.Tubajug wrote:What do you use for your dent removal Tabor?Tabor wrote:

Still imagining the live chicken shoved into the bell.
1948 Holton 122 (brass lacquer with 26” bell)
1929 Conn 38K (satin silver with 26” gold wash bell)
1936 Conn 40K (silver with 24” bell)
Next?

Tabor, in case you haven't been told: you are doing the lord's work.
