There is some lacquer wear where the right arm comes in contact with the instrument. There is evidence of repair to the bottom bow. Ripple in the bell was recently rolled out from None of these affect the playing on the instrument in any way.
This is a fantastic "do it all" tuba. I have used it in brass quintet, orchestra, pit orchestra and 1st part in tuba/euph quartets. It is highly mouthpiece sensitive and this can be used to play chameleon in different types of groups.
I am located in Baltimore and I am willing to drive 250 miles in any direction to meet a buyer.

It is old enough to be labeled "made in Germany" on the lead pipe. I'll look up to serial number and get an exact date of manufacture.
