Meinl-Weston 2155 CC Tuba SOLD

For Sale is Meinl-Weston 2155 5/4 CC tuba in good working order. Valves and slides are excellent. It is a nice playing example. However it is rather lacking in finish only having about 50% of lacquer. It has a few small dings, but no substantial dents.

This is a great tuba for someone wanting good CC tuba on a budget.

The tuba comes with Anvil flight case. It is located in UK, but can be shipped to buyer in USA by FedEx for only $300 duties paid

Price is US$6,000 or GB£4,500 with payment accepted by PayPal, Credit Card or bank transfer.

I was the previous owner of this horn and wanted to say that this is a really great playing 2155. Very even, great intonation and extremely quick response, almost feels like a 2000, but half the price! Only reason I sold it is because I wanted a bigger horn and this is the horn I learned CC tuba on (coming from euphonium). Whoever gets this tuba will be very happy with their purchase if they are looking for an easy to play 5/4 CC.

The 2155 is SOLD.

However if you want a tuba of that size and within that budget, then you may want to consider the new Wessex Wyvern CC which in play comparison was quite it equal, or even better - http://www.wessex-tubas.com/product/tc590-wyvern/
