hello fellow tubenetters,
Do they make the Carolers Favorites book in a larger print size rather than just the small march size books?

They do if you blow them up on a copy machine before playing. I have never seen a large-format edition, unlike TubaChristmas books.
Speaking of which: http://www.tubachristmas.com/readtcloc.php?TCState=PA" target="_blank
You had said you were going to try to make it this year. I usually play the morning part. Hope to see you there!

I may have to resort to the copier for the Christmas Time by Buchtel Carol book.
But I'd rather pay for an 8X10.

Are those Buchtel books still in print? I'd forgotten about those!
BTW--I believe you are in Delaware? If so, are you doing TC in Philly this year? Maybe we tubeNet folks should all wear a badge or something to alert us to each other! lol

I'm in DC Metro now, last year I went to Frederick, MD, this year it looks like Newport News, VA.
The Kennedy Center gig is too big!!
If I were back home (Hockessin/Wilmington, DE) I'd be tempted to go to West Chester or Lancaster. (PA)
We still get up there for Christmas and go to Longwood Gardens. Love the organ recital!!

Enjoy! It is just a nice experience. Not earthshaking but a lot of plain old fun. The sound is certainly unique. About the only comparable sound is under the Rotunda in Harrisburg.
