FYI:
Recently a Dutch brass band started to produce an own line of mutes, called DEM-BRO. So far I have tried their straight mutes; to my satisfaction, I can say (they also offer cup mutes and practice mutes). The mutes are well made, cause no major intonation problems and are considerably cheaper than most comparable mutes. There is a website about DEM-BRO.
