Hi there.
I'm checking to buy a PT-3 I know that is a compact but it's possible to take a lot of sound? I know that PT-6 is more large, but how?
Is there anyone that have both to compare to me? A picture maybe?
Thank you

Re: PT-3 and PT-6
PT3 makes plenty of volume, but with less breadth than a PT6.
I played a PT3 in college and thought it worked just fine for just about everything. It can take a little effort to push it for really large or strong ensembles, but I think that's true for any 4/4 tuba.
If you can find a PT4 or PT20, those are a little larger (I think?) and a little easier to play "big" without having to go all the way up to a PT6.
