Questions About Performing a Linkage upgrade/conversion

Okay so I have a PT-4 with the standard rotary linkage. My professor suggested I upgrade to either the B&S linkage, which costs almost $500 or the plastic which is about $20. My professor has the B&S upgrade on his PT-6 and the plastic upgrade on his PT-3. I honestly prefer the plastic upgrade. So can anyone tell me the items I need to perform this task?

(My professor said I could purchase the stuff at a hobby store)
