-Just a side note. While at Dillon Music, Scott Mendoker happened to be there as well and he was gracious enough to play test my Cerveny. He described it as very similar to the Rudy 6/4 in its sound and playing characteristics. This is also how Jay Bertolet described it when he owned it. Since I haven't had the opportunity to play the Rudy Meinl horn, I can't compare. Also, the reason I am selling it is because I want to move to a 4/4 size instument for my current playing needs. Hope this helps to give everyone a better idea of what the horn is like. Thanks.

Custom Cerveny ACB-601 CC. CUSTOM WORK includes having the valves and valve ports scooped out to match the .835" bore of the horn, valve linkage replaced with new quieter and faster linkage, & solid strips of wire (3/8" half round) soldered inside the bell and on the top and bottom bows to darken and add core to its sound. The tuba also has a main tuning slide stick. I had this horn on consignment at Dillon Music for awhile and Matt did some amazing "tweaking." If you are looking for a BAT that plays and sounds great without spending BA(B)ucks, then this is the horn for you. Price $3,795.00.
