Back in the day, was this a common accessory to go from CC to BBb? I wonder what the intonation is like on it as a CC horn? (And likely, with the BBb slide, intonation would be the same, but a little weirder.)

I am pretty sure this was a crook I sold them about 12 years ago. It is from an all nickel Alex (not plated, solid nickel) That horn played almost better as a BB flat than with the CC slide.....
