I'm selling my Wessex Wyvern that I bought new in January. It is still in like-new condition with only a few scratches on the bottom bow. I really like this tuba and it plays fantastically. The horn plays evenly in all registers and the intonation is great. I've gotten great feedback from fellow musicians for the tone I've been able to achieve on this instrument. Asking $6000 for the horn and hard case (has a broken handle). Might entertain trades for a larger tuba. I am located in Virginia Beach, VA and would prefer to sell to someone within driving distance. Feel free to pm me with any questions.

Here's a link to a video of me playing the tuba: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwP9MKJC--k" target="_blank" target="_blank

I'll post pictures soon.

Brand new it’s 6000. As a used already been opened, used, cosmetically damaged product I could offer 3500.

Brand new it's 6400 before taxes. Unless I'm missing something, the only thing messed up is a broken handle on the case. 6000 is reasonable, but 3500 is not.

The price listed on the website says "$5,580". Has this changed?

For clarity, the Wessex website says:

$5580 - Lacquered

$6395 - Silver-plated

(case included)
All that, plus $8.00, will get you a venti at Starbucks.
Or in my case, a large can of Folgers.

The tuba is in silver plate and was $6400 new before taxes. It is also in like-new condition. As stated before, please pm me for offers or questions.

Thank you. That's a great point. I was using the lacquer price. :)
