Re: I saw a cool, old (very dirty) 2165 todayWhat kind of gig bag does it take?
Re: I saw a cool, old (very dirty) 2165 todayI've forgotten most of what I used to know, but is that a no-dynamic-brakes EMD-made SD45 ?
Re: I saw a cool, old (very dirty) 2165 todayIf my train knowledge doesn't lead me astray, that is probably a former CNW unit. They ordered theirs without the DB....

Re: I saw a cool, old (very dirty) 2165 today
That would seem about right for the combined weight of a 2165 tuba and the average tuba player. ![]() The loco in question is an SD60 - built for and always owned by UP - part of a 60 unit order - original # was 6010 - renumbered 2165: "Owner: Union Pacific Railroad Company Model: EMD SD60 Built As: UP 6010 (SD60) Serial Number: 847028-11 Order No: 847028 Frame Number: 847028-11 Built: 4/1986 Other locos with this serial: UP 2165(SD60) UP 6010(SD60)"
Re: I saw a cool, old (very dirty) 2165 today1 big difference....THAT 2165 uses diesel as fuel while most 2165 players run on beer.
