Those fit all MW/B&S/VMI "Big Valve" piston blocks, I think. (Don't know if B&S/VMI tubas use this block, but I have read repeatedly that some models do. It is *not* just a Melton product; someone else makes them, I think. Sorry I don't know more.)

So these are not limited to the Thor, unless that tuba does not use the "Big Valve" piston block. These will fit tubas like the 45SLP on up to a 2165, for instance.

correct.

I've dropped them into a 2165, a 5450, a Neptune, and a 2155. Meinlschmidt manufactures them.

They seem to be roughly .002" too small (i.e. too leaky) for Wisemann 900 tubas.

I suspect that they would fit the JP 379CC tuba, but I'm pretty sure that the valve guide threaded holes would need to be relocated.

Just to be clear, these would fit a VMI Neptune?

My best guess is that - assuming the larger diameter pistons that have been used for quite some time - they would fit.

Were it that you preferred a more definitive response that is more likely correct, you might consider asking this person:
