change in the registration process

Postby Mark Finley » Wed Feb 13, 2019 10:59 am

Farah and I have loosened the controls on the registration process. Ever since she found a way to block the spammer bots, I don't think we've even had a spammer attempt to register since early November.

The change in theory could allow a few more spammers to post, so if you see a post that doesn't belong, please report it, or even better text me or send me a message on facebook. My number is easy to find on the internet, just search for my name combined with the word tuba. Because I'm a private lesson teacher, my contact info gets posted on a bunch ofband websites.

If it winds up being a problem we can go back to the way it was, which is more work, but it worked well.

Now If I can just stop the 15 robo-spam calls I get every day...

Not all...but many land/cell lines accept the free application, nomorobo. I'm likely telling you about something about which you are already aware, and - yes - some calls get past nomorobo...but there is a way to report those numbers to nomorobo as well.

Two spam posts yesterday. Going back to the previous system that worked so well

Same thing applies though. If you see spam, report it or contact me directly
