Hello, everyone. I have a Miraphone Petrushka F tuba for sale. I bought it new in December 2017 at the Midwest Clinic directly from Miraphone. I am asking $9000 for the horn, and it comes with a Miraphone gig bag. No hard case.
This horn is incredibly easy to play, and has the best low register out of any F that I've come across. Intonation is very solid across the board.. the only adjustments that I like to make are occasionally substituting the 1+2 valve combo with 3rd valve, mostly for D in the staff.
Cosmetically, I have taken great care of this instrument, but there is one small ding on the bell that is barely noticeable and does not affect playability in any way. I will have some pictures up here in a couple of days.
I am in Chicago, and would prefer a local sale. I am generally not able to travel very far, but will entertain reasonable requests. I am not currently looking to trade.
