Bass Fishing

Post by elimia »

Anyone into bass fishing? It's been a little slow lately at some of the places we go. Chat about favorite rigs/jigs/techinques would be pretty cool. I've been running a lot of rubber worms lately.

Is that string bass or electric bass? And why would you do a jig with either one?

I prefer contrabass fishing, actually (but you need a larger boat for that  ).

Most of White River

Post by Tom Mason »

Most of White River, and its lakes have good bass fishing.

Table Rock, Beaver, Norfork and Bull Shoals have some good bass fishing, and are all on the White River. When you get downstream from Norfork and out of the trout areas, around Batesville and down to the Arkansas River, you run into some more good bass and crapie areas.

I grew up fishing these waters.

Lot's a bass tournaments there. I spent more time after crappie and catfish though.
