It's an excellent horn, intonation is spot on, sound is rich and sweet, great low range for a rotary F, and high range is just really nice.
It's 6 valves, 4 right hand and 2 on the left. All valves vented. Silver plated with gold brass underneath, this gives it a wonderful resonance. It's in excellent condition.
It comes with a very good Miraphone gig bag and a hard case. I’ve also just had it serviced by Aaron Ebert so it is in great playing condition with a 6 month warranty!
It truly is a wonderful horn! It has been very reliable over the last three years. I’m only parting with it because I’m not needing an F Tuba at the moment.
Price is $12,500AUD which is good considering a new one bought into the country with both hard and soft case is close to $19,000AUD
