Big luscious, open sound, free blowing and not lacking the ability to speak powerfully. With 5 valves the entire range of the instrument locks in very well and the heavier construction gives the player a great feel. This horn is ideal for solo work, quintet, brass bands, even large symphony orchestras because of its resonating abilities. You have to give this a try if you are in the market for a serious Eb tuba that can do it all.
