The tuning slide is for resonance. 8)
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Put your whammy on this rock guitar solo from Bohemian Rhapsody (47 to 55 down an octave for mere mortals as this IS a trombone part), made famous by Brian May, before you get in your AMC Pacer, roll down the window and and ask to pass the Grey Poupon.
