Virtual performance opportunity

Post by mikebmiller »

Ladies and gents. Like a few other folks on here, I am active on the trombonechat.com web site. The folks on that site decided to get together and produce a collaborative Christmas video. After what was probably too little discussion, we decided on an arrangement of Carol of the Bells that was done by one of the forum members. The only problem with that arrangement is that this kid wrote all the bass bone parts just way too low, with tons of loud pedal Fs and so forth. These parts would be much more suited for tuba than bass bone. So, I am wondering if anyone on here would like to join us for that video. We have all the parts online in pdf form and we have a backup track to listen to while recording. I can post up links here if anyone wants to join us and become a youtube sensation.

Thanks.
