I purchased this horn new from Wessex in July of 2018. I've enjoyed using it in quintet, band, and some orchestra work, but I've decided to go in a different direction with my Eb sound. It's really a nice instrument with a robust tone, leaning towards a Besson 981/2 but a bit brighter. I had some minor work done with shortening the 1st and main slides to allow for better tuning, you can see from the pictures. The 1st slide is well-aligned and easy to adjust for low E and sometimes F. The horn is in good shape, some minor acid bleed on the bell rim and maybe a ding on the bell but no real dents to speak of. It comes with the original plastic hard case with wheels in perfect condition.
Horn is now SOLD. Thanks folks.
