I might need to borrow/rent a tuba in DeKalb, IL...

Post by Tom Holtz »

...for a dixieland concert being given by the Buck Creek Jazz Band on September 8 at the Egyptian Theater. The sponsors are being incredibly generous by bringing us out, and we're putting a big dent in their budget. Add $160-$200 in airline oversize tuba charges to my tab, and I easily become the most expensive band member. I'd like to do this on the cheap, and not bite the hand that's feeding me. Anyone who might help me out or know somebody else who might, please PM me.

Thanks in advance.

Hey, tofu, PM me an e-mail address. My PM's to you are in my Outbox, not my Sentbox, and I don't know why they aren't getting to you.

If anyone can help me with the internal mechanics of TubeNet PM's, feel free. Me not smart. Me play toobah.

heh-heh...(chirp, chirp...)
If I had the time and $$$ to fly into the Quad-Cities instead of O'Hare, I'd have called ahead to the world-famous Lee Stofer's Iowa Tuba Barn and been guided by the master. No worries, though... TubeNet has come through again.
