...for a dixieland concert being given by the Buck Creek Jazz Band on September 8 at the Egyptian Theater. The sponsors are being incredibly generous by bringing us out, and we're putting a big dent in their budget. Add $160-$200 in airline oversize tuba charges to my tab, and I easily become the most expensive band member. I'd like to do this on the cheap, and not bite the hand that's feeding me. Anyone who might help me out or know somebody else who might, please PM me.
Thanks in advance.
I might need to borrow/rent a tuba in DeKalb, IL...

If I had the time and $$$ to fly into the Quad-Cities instead of O'Hare, I'd have called ahead to the world-famous Lee Stofer's Iowa Tuba Barn and been guided by the master. No worries, though... TubeNet has come through again.bloke wrote:Have you tried to world-famous DeKalb Tuba Barn?
