Hello everyone,
I'm looking to do a tuba duet with organ and/or percussion accompaniment. Can anyone make some suggestions for such a piece?
Best,
Jason

Re: Help with Tuba duet
How about the Corelli Sonata da chiesa, arranged by R. Winston Morris?
If you read treble clef, there is also a lot of baroque vocal duets (e.g. by Purcell and Händel) that might work.

Jason,
You might also try Daniel Pinkham's "Dragons and Deeps" for bass tuba in F and organ.
It's published by ECS publishing; it's somewhat dissonant with leaping 7ths and a three
octave range. You won't go home whistling the theme.

I know this is like a week late, but "Dragons and Deeps" is a fantastic piece! It's dissonant, but once you play it through a couple times, you really grow to like it. I played it with the tuba professor at my school last spring for our studio recital. I loved it.
