I just ran across this article on Joe Stanko, one of NYC's busiest and best bass trombonists. I've done business with him, selling an instrument or two. He doubles on tuba also. He may have posted a little on this board in the past. My contacts with him have been few, but quite friendly. He even sent me a photo of the pit orchestra he was working a job on at that time.
