I agree with you Tinker...if it wasnt for my Kellyberg i would have never wanted to try a metal version of the mouthpiece.

Yep! When I bought my Marzan I found that my trusty Bach 18 didn't work too well...very stuffy. As the Kellybergs were (relatively) inexpensive, I got one, tried it, and found it to be a great match for my new horn. After playing for a few weeks and deeming the experiment a success, I went out and bought a new Conn-Helleberg metal mouthpiece, although I still use the Kellybergs...red for last night's community band Christmas concert , green for St. Patricks, punk pink for rock gigs, and glow-in-the-dark for playing naked at home.

hmmmmmm.... The messages on the TubeNet I'm seeing are all off one day. I checked the computer clock and also the date stamps in my Outlook and everything on my end looks OK. Don't know what's going on!

You need to look at your Tubenet profile. You control the way the time is set when you are signed in. I think that Indiana is GMT-6hrs. The adjustment depends on the time zone you are in. Eastern time would be GMT-5, central time is GMT-6.

Can he make it a "heavyweight" version, maybe in the shape of the old Orfeo Deck model? I always thought that was a nice looking mouthpiece and the heavy wall might benefit a plastic mouthpiece even more than a metal one.

Should be about another 3-4 weeks, according to Mr. Kelly.

Just ordered a whole bunch of mpces... Now I'll have to make a second order to try the PT 50 out. I'll have to throw in a pink and a glow-in-the-dark kellyberg to make the shipping to europe less prohibitive ;)

Is the Kelly 50 going to be a regular production model or is it only going to be available by special order to those that requested one here?
